Oilwell Basin — Volcanic Petroleum Zone
The Basin is the most hazardous gathering environment in the game. Oil pools drain your health passively, tar pits slow stamina regeneration, and explosive geysers can interrupt you mid-gather. [4] Bring Antidotes, keep health above half at all times, and don’t sprint through oil pools. The oilsilt hazard is thinnest during Plenty — do your gathering runs then, not during Firespring.

The Nu Yaya is the most obtuse unlock in the entire game. Nothing in the UI tells you that defeating a Tempered Nu Udra during Firespring is the prerequisite — you’ll miss it entirely unless you know to look.
Iceshard Cliffs — Frozen Cliff System
The Cliffs have the most areas of any zone — 20 total — spread across vertical cliff faces and underground ice caverns. [5] Two areas are progression-locked: Area 20 (Ancient Room) and Area 15 (Upper Corridor) only open post-Arkveld. Don’t plan High Rank material runs to these areas until you’ve cleared that story milestone.
